Let's Work Together
Let's Work Together
Galvanize Public Relations is looking for our next challenge. Examples of how we partner with campaigns and organizations include:
Serve as a strategic communications advisor and teammate including overall campaign strategy; press material drafting, dissemination and tracking; media pitching; crisis communications; research and polling management; spokesperson preparation; vendor coordination and management and whatever you might need to run a winning messaging strategy. We can do all of your comms, or partner with your internal team to add power.
Design internal and external communications structures for advocacy and nonprofit organizations, ballot initiatives, issue campaigns, boards of directors and coalition work. This includes communications audits of internal processes and systems to help your team improve – and help leadership empower everyone's best work, as well as external audits of media coverage, messaging, digital landscape, etc.
We can also serve as a conductor of sorts to "keep the trains running" on time while ensuring key stakeholders and funding partners are up to date.
Bridge the divide between legal, lobby, communications and the grassroots. Change comes at you fast, and the traditional way of doing things is to silo the various pieces of a campaign or effort because "legal is separate from comms," or "the grassroots don't understand the bigger picture." We'll help break down those silos and make sure everyone is included in a way that serves our ultimate goal.
Convene and run coalitions of unlikely stakeholders to pass priority legislation or achieve social goals. Nothing in a state Capitol or any room where decisions are made happens in a vacuum.
Everyone has a part to play. Our most successful efforts have been a product of bringing more people to the table to create a broader understanding of how we can move forward together.
This doesn't happen by accident – Galvanize can help convene, run and empower unique coalitions to reach policy goals.

Two of our least favorite sentences? "That's the way we've always done it," and "That's more work than it's worth." We don't back down from a challenge, and believe that big swings are what it will take to truly move the needle.
Here are some of our potential dream projects, but please don't let these aspirations stop you from reaching out:
Pass a constitutional amendment in Colorado to repeal the devastating effects of the so-called "Tax Payer Bill of Rights" (TABOR), which prevents much-needed investments in our communities and schools and prevents our elected officials from doing what they were put in office to do.
Host a constitutional convention in Michigan to reset the framework by which the state is run – from education funding formulas to Supreme Court and legislative ethics policies to tax policy. A piecemeal approach hasn't worked so far, and we believe that an intentional, well-run convention could set the tone for a broader national conversation.
Serve as the lead communications consultant for survivors of sexual assault and harassment in their effort to speak publicly about their experiences to influence change. This could be in partnership with a major law firm, national advocacy organization or with a cohort of likeminded survivors. If you or someone you know would like to explore the options available to them to speak their truth, please reach out. (Note: We are not attorneys or licensed mental health professionals.)
Contribute to a national campaign to address the male loneliness crisis. Sounds counterintuitive for advocates primarily for women in the sexual abuse realm, but this is a challenge that spans just about every social problem we face – including the health of our democracy, suicide prevention and building healthy workplace cultures.
Two of our favorite sentences? "If you make friends everywhere, you have friends everywhere," and "Work smarter, not harder."
